Alexander “AJ” Wray

Alexander “AJ” Wray is the President of the Town and Gown Association of Ontario, and is a well-known voice in Southwestern Ontario on community development and municipal policy. A doctoral student in geography and environment at Western University, coordinating the Food Retail Environment Study for Health and Economic Resiliency (FRESHER) and ParkSeek projects for the Human Environments Analysis Lab, his work focuses on healthy sustainable community development, chronic disease prevention, and local policy. AJ recently received his Masters in Geography from Western, and holds an undergraduate degree in planning and environmental assessment from the University of Waterloo. He has completed international exchanges with the University of Tokyo Department of Urban Engineering, and the Politecnico di Milano School of Design in Italy.
