Judy Risebrough brings 40 years experience with Employment & Social Development Canada to the Uxbridge Downtown Revitalization Project. As the Director of the Human Resource Development Canada Centres in Grey Bruce, Durham and Peterborough, she worked with communities to develop and implement economic and social development projects. As a Project Manager she was responsible for a number of projects, including bringing all the Service Canada Call Centres into a national network and building a Service Canada Call Centre in Cornwall. During the last four years of her career, she was the Program Manager responsible for a $200M project that transformed the Department’s internal services through the implementation of SAP and PeopleSoft.
Upon retirement, she shared her passion and expertise with the Uxbridge Economic Development Advisory Committee which in turn presented the opportunity to lead the Uxbridge Downtown Revitalization Project.
Judy was born and raised in Uxbridge. Growing up she worked in her family’s retail hardware business located in the downtown. Judy, along with her husband and their two children and their families live in Uxbridge. She is passionate about the future of the downtown.
